Satellite Industry Association Announces UltiSat as New Member

Washington, D.C. September, 20, 2011 - The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) announces that UltiSat has joined as an Associate Member of SIA.

“SIA is delighted that Ultisat has joined our community,” said, SIA President, Patricia Cooper. “UltiSat’s broad-based perspective as both a satellite service provider and teleport operator will enhance SIA’s significant focus on facilities security and specialized services for key satellite sectors.”

A systems integrator and teleport operator based in Gaithersburg, MD, UltiSat provides global coverage and satellite communications solutions through its managed satellite network service, VIPnet, and supporting ground infrastructure, network and systems design, and integration services. With its teleport in Denmark, UltiSat can access more than 100 satellites from 55°W to 70° and provide teleport services including managed network services; mobile satellite services; and ship-to-shore communications. UltiSat customers include government agencies, government contractors, telecommunications companies, NGOs, infrastructure operators and multinational enterprises.
